Manikin Making Workshop by Lakota Moon highlights the importance of representation in society of Indigenous Australian culture.

To go back when I was younger and see an Indigenous inspired doll on the store shelves and on the television, that embraced my culture, would have empowered my self esteem at a much younger age. As well as the significance of being Indigenous.

I have created the Manikin Making Workshop for all ages, genders and cultural backgrounds to create their very own manikin / doll to design to each personal preference.

The outcome of the workshop is for young children to embrace themselves through the design of their manikin / doll, also for adults to get creative.
